With growing demand for accessible mental health care, My Solution Wellbeing wanted to expand their reach — not only by building awareness across their physical locations, but also by making it easier for people anywhere in the UK to access online counselling.
That’s where we stepped in.
Managing campaigns for a multi-location counselling service comes with its complexities. Each area has different levels of competition, population density, and search behaviour. Our goal was to build a scalable Google Ads strategy that would drive local enquiries while promoting the flexibility of online sessions for clients outside of the key areas.
It was vital that every ad spoke to the sensitive and personal nature of mental health support — and did so with empathy and trust at the core.
We built a geo-targeted campaign structure with custom ad groups for each of the 12 locations, including searches like “counselling in Leicester”, “therapist near me Nottingham”, and “mental health support Coventry”. We used location extensions and call tracking to direct users to the right local team, and created custom landing pages for each area to maximise conversions.
Within the first 90 days, My Solution Wellbeing saw a significant increase in enquiries, with local appointment requests up 70% across all 12 locations. The national campaign for online therapy also outperformed industry benchmarks, with strong engagement from users seeking discreet, at-home support.
The Google Ads strategy not only drove traffic, but helped balance bookings across multiple clinics — a common challenge in multi-location healthcare businesses. Locations that previously had lower visibility began to receive consistent weekly enquiries.
