While the company had already built strong local relationships, they wanted to reach more homeowners who qualified for free insulation — especially those unaware they might be eligible. They approached us to help increase visibility and generate qualified leads through Google Ads.

The Challenge

Despite offering a valuable, no-cost service to homeowners, Green Home Energy Services faced two challenges: low public awareness of available grants, and fierce competition from national energy firms advertising similar offers.

Our job was to build a Google Ads campaign that would cut through the noise, educate homeowners, and drive direct inquiries — without wasting budget on irrelevant clicks.

The Strategy

We started by identifying high-intent, geographically relevant keywords, such as “free cavity wall insulation Oxfordshire,” “home insulation grants Berkshire,” and “energy efficiency survey near me.” We split campaigns by service type (cavity wall, loft insulation, general surveys) and used localised ad copy to establish trust and highlight the no-cost offering.

Each ad led to a clear, benefit-led landing page encouraging users to check their eligibility or request a call — focusing on the key outcomes: a warmer, more efficient home with no upfront cost.

We also used location targeting to ensure ads were only shown to homeowners in their service regions, and implemented negative keywords to filter out irrelevant traffic.

The Results

Within the first month, Green Home Energy Services saw a 60% increase in online inquiries, many from new areas they hadn’t previously tapped into.
